The main funding of the Secretariat is provided by the Central Secretariat of the Gender Advisory Board of the United Nations Commission on Science and Technology for Development (GAB-UNCSTD). The Central Secretariat has been funded by the Government of the Netherlands through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
